Georgiev teaches and writes about business law, with research centered on the intersection of corporate governance and securities regulation, including the SEC regulatory regime, the rise of private capital, and systems for sustainability accounting and disclosure. His scholarship has appeared in leading journals, with key publications such as “Too Big to Disclose: Firm Size and Materiality Blindspots in Securities Regulation” (64 UCLA L.
