Dr. Gurkeerat Singh is the Vice Principal, Professor, and Head of the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research in Faridabad, Haryana, India. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with First Class honors from the College of Dental Surgery, Mangalore University, between 1989 and 1994. He completed his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, in 1997. Further advancing his expertise, he earned the M.Orth Diplomate from the Intercollegiate examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) London and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS) Glasgow in 2001, and the Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics (IBO) in 2009. Professionally, he has maintained a multi-specialty private practice at D-32, The Dental Centre, South Extension Part-1, New Delhi, since 2006. He serves as Consultant Orthodontist at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre and Hospital, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, since August 1998, and was previously a Consultant Orthodontist at Mata Channan Devi Hospital, Janakpuri, New Delhi, until April 2013. Additionally, he has held leadership roles including Former Vice President and Editor of the Journal of the Indian Orthodontic Society from 2010 to 2014, and serves as an Executive Member of the Delhi Dental Council, Indian Dental Association, and the Dentistry Sectional Committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Dr. Singh's academic interests encompass pre-adjusted edgewise appliances using both labial and lingual techniques, fixed bite-jumping appliances, micro-implants, lasers in dentistry, and Begg light wire appliances in labial and lingual forms. He has authored over fifty publications in Indian and international journals, including the groundbreaking full-color 'Textbook of Orthodontics,' the first of its kind by an Indian author, and 'Mini Atlas of Orthodontics.' He has presented numerous papers and served as a guest speaker at national and international conferences and study conventions worldwide, contributing significantly to advancements in orthodontic practices and education.
