About Gustavo

Gustavo Pamplona Rehder is an associate professor in the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Escola Politécnica of the Universidade de São Paulo. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computing and Information from Arkansas State University (2003), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo (2005), and a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo (2008). He completed postdoctoral research at the TIMA Laboratory in Grenoble, France, in 2009, and at the IMEP-LAHC Laboratory in 2010 and 2011.

Rehder is affiliated with the Microelectronics Laboratory at USP, where his work focuses on the development of circuits and systems in millimeter waves, with particular interest in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), new fabrication processes, 3D integration, and interposers. He serves as the responsible professor for the department's undergraduate program and is involved in research projects on RF MEMS for millimeter-wave applications using commercial CMOS processes, as well as infrastructure for millimeter-wave characterization supporting next-generation wireless communications.
