Professor Hadrian Djajadikerta serves as Professor and Accounting Discipline Lead in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Faculty of Business and Law at Curtin University. He earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney, MBA from the University of Montana, MSc from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Drs from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, and completed the Business Analytics Programme at the University of Cambridge. As a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA), along with Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM), he brings extensive professional expertise to his academic role. His career encompasses positions at Curtin University, University of New South Wales, University of Technology Sydney, Lincoln University, and Edith Cowan University, including leadership as Research Dean (Business and Law), Head of Commerce, Director of MBA and Postgraduate Programs, Acting International Dean (Business and Law), and Leader of the Sustainability and Corporate Governance Research Cluster. Professor Djajadikerta has supervised more than thirty PhD students, examined numerous theses, and secured research grants from Australian Cooperative Research Centres, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and industry sources.
His research focuses on sustainability and corporate governance, applying sustainable development principles to organizations and reporting, interdisciplinary research in management, finance, supply chain, logistics, digital technology, and education, as well as management accounting. Notable awards include the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Research Supervision Award, Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, Best Paper Award at the Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand Conference, and Wiley’s Top Cited Paper. Key publications feature "Data Analysis with SPSS for Survey-Based Research" (2021, Springer, with S. Mat Roni), "Incremental Value Relevancies in the Development of Reporting of Sustainability Performance" (2024, Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, with A. Donkor and T. Trireksani), and works on environmental disclosures, supply chain innovation, ESG performance, and corporate tax aggressiveness. He has provided evidence to the Western Australia Parliamentary Inquiry into short-stay accommodation and engages in not-for-profit social, educational, and cultural activities.
