Dr. Bahrami's research specializations encompass wireless communications and networks, statistical signal processing, cybersecurity and cross-layer security, cyber-physical systems and smart grids, nanoscale and molecular communications, data analytics and machine learning, and advanced manufacturing for Industry 4.0/5.0. His main areas of research include wireless communications, information theory, data analytics, and applications of signal processing in communication. He holds the distinction of Senior Member of the IEEE, and is a member of the IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
