Hanh Hoang's research interests span digital and social media marketing, brand management, and data analytics. Her specific areas of focus include branding and brand management, social media marketing, brand activism, cause marketing, and digital marketing. Her doctoral research particularly aims to investigate firms' strategies for engaging in social media activism, as well as their purpose-driven online branding strategies that promote positive social change.
