Helen Hills serves as Senior Clinical Physiologist at the University of Otago, Wellington, within the WellSleep Sleep Investigation Centre. This centre operates under the Department of Medicine and is part of the Division of Health Sciences. In her role, she contributes to clinical physiology focused on sleep investigations.
Helen Hills has been part of the WellSleep team supporting research activities, including acknowledgment in a 2010 randomised controlled trial published in the journal Sleep. The study, conducted by Bakker et al., compared adaptive servo-ventilation to continuous positive airway pressure in patients with complex sleep apnoea, assessing effects on treatment compliance, objective and subjective sleepiness, and quality of life.
