Dr Helen Siuki is an award-winning Senior Lecturer in Marketing and the Department of Marketing Director of Education at Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. She earned her PhD in Marketing from Macquarie University. Her research specializations include digital and social media marketing, marketing research, consumer engagement, and motivations. Siuki's publications appear in prestigious journals such as Journal of Business Research, Journal of Brand Management, and Psychology & Marketing. Notable works include 'Woke brand activism authenticity or the lack of it' (Mirzaei, A., Wilkie, D.C.H., & Siuki, H., 2022, Journal of Business Research), 'Exploring brand purpose dimensions for non-profit organizations' (Mirzaei, A., Webster, C.M., & Siuki, H., 2021, Journal of Brand Management), and 'Regulatory-focused social media engagement for health messages' (Siuki, H., & Webster, C., 2023, ANZMAC Conference Proceedings). She is the co-author of the textbook Marketing Research, 1st Edition (McDaniel, C., Gates, R., & Siuki, H., 2025, Wiley). An forthcoming publication is 'When Does Integrating Human Values in Brands’ Communications Lower Social Media Engagement?' (Siuki, H., Mirzaei, A., & Lai, J., 2026, Journal of Advertising Research).
Siuki has received major awards for teaching excellence, including the Vice-Chancellor's Teaching and Learning Award in the Learning Innovation Category (2022), Macquarie Business School Teaching and Learning Early Career Award (2021), Vice-Chancellor's Learning and Teaching Highly Commended Finalist (2021), and ANZMAC Mid-Career Marketing Educator of the Year (2025). She is a finalist for the 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Education. Her teaching innovations in units such as Digital Marketing Strategy, Marketing Research, and Social Media Marketing incorporate work-integrated learning, industry partnerships, certifications, and mentoring programs to boost student employability. Siuki serves as a reviewer for ANZMAC 2025 and Journal of Brand Management (2024), contributing to the academic community.
