Heloísa Jatobá Scattone is a médica sanitarista and researcher affiliated with the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). She earned her medical degree from the Universidade de Santo Amaro in 2017. She completed a medical residency in Medicina Preventiva e Social at UNICAMP from 2020 to 2022. She pursued a master's degree in Saúde Coletiva at UNICAMP from 2022 to 2025, with a thesis titled “Padrões de uso terapêutico de cânabis no Brasil: Um estudo exploratório de análise de classes latentes.”
Scattone is a member of the Laboratório de Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre Psicoativos (LEIPSI) at UNICAMP. Her research focuses on patterns of medical cannabis use in Brazil, as evidenced by her 2025 publication in the International Journal of Drug Policy. She has also contributed to work on therapeutic uses of cannabis in medical education.
