Higor Sette Pereira serves as Research Partnerships Facilitator in Research and Innovation Services at the University of Lethbridge. He previously held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the same institution, including work in the Patel lab within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Alberta RNA Research and Training Institute. He earned his PhD in Applied Biochemistry and his Master of Science in Applied Biochemistry from Universidade Federal de Viçosa. His research activities center on biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics, with involvement in studies of RNA structures, viral untranslated regions, and related molecular dynamics. He has received support through the NSERC CREATE postdoctoral fellowship. Additional roles include serving as President of the Post-doc Association at the University of Lethbridge and co-founding BeeSafe Biotech Inc. Higor Sette Pereira maintains an active affiliation with the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
