Praks's research encompasses microwave Earth observation, synthetic aperture radar techniques like polarimetry, interferometry, polarimetric interferometry, and SAR tomography, CubeSat systems including sun sensors and radiation shielding, and applications in boreal forest remote sensing and low Earth orbit positioning, navigation, and timing.
