Rate My Professor James Galbraith

James A. Galbraith, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. He also serves as a Discovery Engine Investigator in the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and holds an appointment in the Neuroscience Graduate Program. Dr. Galbraith combines biology, engineering, and optic principles to investigate fundamental mechanisms of processes such as wiring the brain, synaptogenesis, cell division, and cell motility. His work on cellular decision making employs a combination of imaging, biophysics, and neuro/cell biology to address cutting-edge questions by leveraging emerging technologies.
