Jamie Sharken serves as Senior Administrative Coordinator at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. In this role, she manages administrative operations, oversees the Fletcher School Executive Faculty mailing list, and provides support to faculty and students. Concurrently, she is a Master's candidate at the Fletcher School, with interests in public affairs, strategic communications, technology and policy. Bilingual in English and Spanish, her skills contribute to the school's international focus. She has participated in events welcoming new students alongside faculty members such as Kelly Sims Gallagher.
Prior to her current position, Sharken earned a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Vermont. She interned in the Latin American Program at the Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities in 2017. In 2024, she contributed research and administrative assistance to Tufts' Working Paper 3: 'Failure to Deliver.' Additionally, she holds an advisory role at The Pathway Initiative (TPWI), which seeks to provide opportunities in medicine, life sciences, and biotechnology to underserved students.
