Jason Frazer is an Assistant Professor of Business in the College of Business and Aviation at Fairmont State University, specializing in Business & Economics education. An alumnus of the university, he holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Fairmont State University. Frazer's academic journey at Fairmont State began as a student where he excelled, serving as an Economics peer mentor facilitating roundtable discussions to help first-year students master concepts and develop independence, as featured in university news. He was honored for academic achievement at the School of Business Delta Mu Delta induction ceremony.
Transitioning to faculty, Frazer actively contributes to university governance as Treasurer of the Faculty Senate through 2025, representing the College of Business and Aviation. He serves on the Library Committee representing Accounting, Economics, and Finance, and on the Faculty Development Committee representing Aviation, demonstrating commitment to resource enhancement and professional growth. In 2023, Frazer received the Faculty Adviser Service Award from Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business for outstanding leadership of the Fairmont State chapter, recognizing his impact on student success in business fields. He teaches courses such as FINC 3350 Investments in hybrid format during recent semesters including Fall 2024 and Fall 2025. Through these roles, Frazer influences the Business & Economics academic community at Fairmont State University.
