Dr Jason Lim Teck Chye served as a lecturer in the Architecture and Sustainable Design pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He holds a Doctor of Sciences from ETH Zurich, awarded in 2011 following doctoral research at the Gramazio Kohler Research unit, a Master of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology completed in 2008, and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. Lim co-founded YUME Architects, where he serves as director, and previously held positions including adjunct assistant professor and full-time faculty roles at SUTD from 2017 until stepping down at the end of 2025.
His professional activities include participation in the Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition in 2018 and 2020, co-teaching courses such as Material Computation: Advanced Topics in Geometry and Matter, and contributing to student projects that received the iF Design Award in 2023. Lim has also been featured in Singapore Tatler for residential projects by YUME Architects and has written on the use of augmented reality technologies in architectural education.
