As Faculty Lead and Program Manager for the Film & Video Production program within the Visual and Performing Arts division, Santelli oversees the Area of Concentration in the A.A. in Arts & Humanities and the standalone Certificate program. These programs prepare students for careers as video editors, producers, and camera operators through hands-on training in pre-production, production, post-production, motion graphics, directing, lighting, equipment operation, and field production projects. Santelli prepared the final report for the third assessment cycle (2012-2015) of the Digital Media Design program's Television Production track, evaluating general education competencies in technological competence and critical thinking. The assessment involved student projects with research on international films using resources like IMDb and AFI, script development, and production execution, yielding proficient average scores (e.g., 3.17-3.26 for critical thinking, 2.98-3.15 for technological competence). He organizes the annual Student Film Festival to showcase student work and exhibited his artwork "CROW" in the FCC Art Faculty Exhibition from November 5 to 30. Santelli also facilitates internships for workplace integration, portfolio reviews for photography and graphic design, and serves as a contact for student clubs and organizations, promoting professional behaviors, ethical communication, and problem-solving in digital media.
