About Jeana

Associate Professor Jeana Kriewaldt holds a position in the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne, where she serves as Co-Leader of the Arts and Humanities Education Academic Group within the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Her research specializations encompass teaching methods, curriculum theory, and teacher education. She leads several projects focused on work-integrated learning, teacher professional learning, geography education, and sustainability education. Kriewaldt was a chief investigator in the Australian Research Council project Strengthening Standards of Teaching through Linking Standards and Teacher Learning. She holds a PhD and has expertise in geographic education. Her academic interests include clinical practice in education, lesson study, professional standards for teaching, and inquiry-based learning in geography.

Kriewaldt has made significant contributions through numerous publications.
