She served as principal investigator for the Research Grants Council Early Career Scheme project (HK$1,063,372, 2019), "Are Older Adults Lonely? Her publications appear in top-tier journals such as American Psychologist, The Lancet Healthy Longevity, and JAMA Network Open. Notable works include "Behavioral activation and mindfulness interventions in reducing loneliness and improving well-being in older adults: The HEAL-HOA randomized clinical trial" (2026, JAMA Network Open), "Identifying the optimal predictors for adolescent mental and physical health using machine learning methods" (2026, Journal of Affective Disorders), and "The mediating role of loneliness between psychosocial and physiological well-being in older adults" (2026, Psychoneuroendocrinology). Jiang Da's contributions to gerontology and psychology have earned her election as a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, the Rising Star award from the Association for Psychological Science, the Seisoh Sukemune/Bruce Bain Encouragement Award from the International Council of Psychologists, the 2024 Research Award from the Hong Kong Psychogeriatric Association, and the President’s Award for Outstanding Research Performance (Early Career Excellence) from EdUHK.
