Jill Thomson is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce at Lincoln University in New Zealand. She has served in this role since July 2016, delivering instruction in Resource Management Law and, since 2022, Property Law. Her professional activities also encompass research on resource management issues through her work with Eclectic Energy.
Thomson holds an LLB with First Class Honours from the University of Waikato and a Certificate in Wool Technology and Classing Agriculture from the Southland Institute of Technology. In addition to her academic contributions at Lincoln University, she maintains involvement in sheep breeding as a Ryeland sheep breeder.
