Jillianne Stoll is Senior Lecturer in Opera and Professional Practice at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, within the Arts, Education and Law group. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with First Class Honours from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide. In this capacity, Stoll plays a pivotal role in the training of future opera professionals through her dedicated teaching and coaching.
Stoll convenes and teaches the undergraduate and postgraduate courses Opera Project and Opera Ensemble, where she coaches students in all roles for opera productions. This hands-on instruction equips students with essential performance skills, rehearsal techniques, and insights into professional practice in the opera industry. As a skilled pianist, she accompanies vocal students in recitals, showcases, and conservatorium performances, including collaborations featured in events at the Ian Hanger Recital Hall and other venues on the South Bank Campus. Her office is located in room S01 3.29. Stoll's work fosters a bridge between academic study and real-world opera careers, contributing to the development of talent at Griffith University's Queensland Conservatorium.
