John Busby serves as Associate Lecturer in Creative Media and Communication at Murdoch University, within the School of Media and Communication. His discipline centers on games and interactive experiences. Telling stories and creating fictional worlds represents a passionate focus of his academic and creative work. This orientation informs his teaching and research activities at the institution.
In 2023, Busby completed a Masters by Research at Murdoch University. The thesis, titled Two Minds, One Design: Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Graphic Novels, examines collaborative approaches in graphic novel production. He has participated in university events, including presentations at the English and Creative Arts Colloquium organized by Murdoch University's School of Arts.
