Jorge Díaz Lanchas serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics within the Business & Economics faculty at Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE. He obtained his MSc in International Economics in 2012 and PhD in Economics in 2016 from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, graduating summa cum laude with international distinction. His doctoral thesis, titled "Essays on city trade flows," was recognized by the Spanish Royal Academy of Doctors in 2017. With over five years of teaching experience at Comillas, he delivers courses in macroeconomics, international economics, and related fields across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the Master in International Affairs and the Doctoral Program in Business and Territorial Competitiveness.
