Dr. Jose Loureiro is a Lecturer in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance within the Faculty of Business and Law at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. His academic background spans engineering and economics. As a Petroleum Engineer, he completed a Master's degree in Subsea Engineering at Curtin University, gaining professional expertise in reservoir engineering. He further pursued a PhD in Economics at the same institution, awarded in 2024. His doctoral thesis, titled "The Dynamics of Inter-Regional Natural Gas Markets," investigates the economic dynamics of natural gas markets in regions such as Asia Pacific and Europe using an econometric approach to evaluate market integration and pricing behaviors.
