Rate My Professor Julia Taylor

Julia Taylor is a Researcher on Climate and Inequality at the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. She previously served as Researcher and Climate Policy Lead at the Institute for Economic Justice, collaborating with labour unions on visions for a Just Transition. Her earlier professional experience includes positions at Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator focused on impact and research, as well as sustainability consulting and eco-education initiatives.

She holds a BCom from the University of Cape Town, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University, an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh, and recently completed a Master’s in Applied Development Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand.
