Julien Benoit is an Associate Professor in Vertebrate Palaeontology at the Evolutionary Studies Institute of the University of the Witwatersrand. He holds an MSc and a PhD in Vertebrate Palaeontology from the Université de Montpellier in France, awarded in 2013.
