Justin Burton holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and serves as Academic Success Coordinator III in the College of Public Service at the University of Houston-Downtown. He functions as the primary academic advisor for students in the Social Work and Criminal Justice programs, providing essential guidance on program requirements, course selection, admissions processes, and academic planning. Listed in the UHD academic catalog as the Social Work Academic Advisor, Burton supports Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students throughout their studies, including assistance with BSW admissions requirements such as essays and transcripts.
