Karen Bosworth is the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation at the University of Otago. As the first point of contact, she provides high-level confidential executive support and advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Her key responsibilities include managing appointments, coordinating meetings, and handling email correspondences to facilitate effective operations in the Research Division.

Previously, Karen Bosworth served as Client Services Administrator for the Department of Tourism and the Department of Information Science at the University of Otago. She has received acknowledgements from multiple PhD students for her administrative assistance during their research and thesis preparation. In recognition of her contributions, she was listed among recipients in the University of Otago Business School annual staff awards. Karen Bosworth attended Long Eaton Grammar School.
