Karin Fraser is the Executive Assistant in the Office of Māori Development at the University of Otago. Affiliated with Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Hine, and Te Rarawa, she supports the initiatives of Māori ki Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, the senior leadership group focused on Māori development within the university. She is part of the Office of Māori Development team that organizes events such as those during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Additionally, she has been associated with the South Pacific Titans Netball Committee in a support capacity. Karin Fraser also holds the title of Kaiāwhina Matua in the Office of Māori Development.
