Kenneth Wait serves as Assistant Professor of Business at Montana State University-Northern within the College of Technical Sciences, having joined the faculty in 2023. His academic background encompasses diverse fields including social sciences, political science, law, and business management. He holds a B.A. in Social Science from the University of Montana-Western, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Montana, a J.D. from Concordia School of Law at Concordia University, and an MBA from Boise State University. These qualifications enable him to provide comprehensive instruction in practical business disciplines.
Wait contributes to multiple programs at MSU-Northern, such as the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which covers managing finances, marketing, and operations; the Marketing: Technical Sales and Service Minor; the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management; the Associate of Science Program of Study in Business; the Small Business Management Minor; and the Bachelor of Applied Science in Trades Management. His office is in the Brockmann Center 210-G with phone extension 4136. As faculty advisor for the Business Professionals of America (BPA) club, an international organization uniting students, academics, and business leaders for entrepreneurial initiatives to enhance quality of life, he supports student leadership and professional development. In March 2025, Wait participated in the MSUN Teaching Scholars Group's presentation 'Teaching and Learning at the AI Crossroads,' addressing ethical AI integration in assignments across business and other fields alongside colleagues.
