Dr. Kevin Beery is the Provost at Continental Theological Seminary in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Belgium, where he has served since 2019. He holds a B.S. in Cross Cultural Studies from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1989), an M.A. in Bible and Theology from Continental Theological Seminary (1998), and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia (2008). His main areas of research and competency are Applied Leadership and Missiology. Beery is listed among the teaching faculty in the English section and is affiliated with the Bible and Applied Theology department. He teaches a range of courses including Church History 2, Cross-Cultural Communication, Dynamics of Leadership in Pentecostal Missiology, Expository Preaching, Introduction to Eastern Orthodoxy, Introduction to Pentecostal Missions, New Religious Movements, Old Testament Pentecostal Exegesis focusing on Historical Books, Prophets, and Poetic Literature, Synoptic Gospels, and Thesis Course.
Beery's extensive career includes pastoral roles as Pastor to the Deaf and Associate Pastor at First Assembly of God in Fort Wayne, Indiana (1989-1992), where he was ordained by the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Indiana District (1992). He served as a Global Worker to Bulgaria with Assemblies of God World Mission (1992-2007), Southeastern Europe Area Director (2007-2011), and Care Facilitator and Ministry Coach (2011-2012), continuing as a Global Worker since 2017. He was Administrator at Sofia Pentecostal Bible College in Bulgaria (1994-2007) and later Chair of its Board (2007-2011), along with board memberships at Biblical University and Global University in Bucharest, Romania, and Evangelical Training College in Tirana, Albania (2007-2011). From 2012 to 2016, he was Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. His publications include articles 'The Value of Succession Planning in the Church' in Enrichment Journal Online (January 2011) and 'The Moses-Joshua Succession From Joshua 1:1-18' (February 2009), as well as serving as Managing Editor for the Bulgarian edition of the Full Life Study Bible (Life Publishers International, 2007). Beery has presented scholarly seminars on leadership values audit, foresight tools, creativity, rest and renewal in leadership, national church partnerships, resilience, retirement, and reentry.
