About Koshila

Koshila Kumar is an Associate Professor at Charles Sturt University, where she serves as Sub-Dean (Academic Development) and Director of the Teaching Academy within the Division of Learning and Teaching. In this leadership role, she provides strategic support for academic development and staff development in learning and teaching across the university. She also holds an adjunct academic appointment at Flinders University. Previously at Flinders University, Kumar was an Associate Professor in the College of Medicine and Public Health, Teaching Program Director for the Clinical Teaching program, and Course Coordinator for postgraduate programs in clinical education, including the Master of Clinical Education. Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Sydney, a Master of Arts (Education) with Honors from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Auckland.

Kumar's research specializations include health professions education, faculty development, curriculum and pedagogy, and qualitative research.
