About Lin

Dr. Lin Mi is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the UQ Business School, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, University of Queensland. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in 2016 from the University of Queensland, with a thesis entitled "Real estate volatility index and its economic significance" completed at the UQ Business School. She also holds a Masters (Coursework) of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Queensland. Her research interests center on corporate finance, real estate finance, and sustainable finance, exploring areas such as climate risk, payout policies, capital structures, institutional ownership, and real estate market volatility.

Dr. Mi has made notable contributions to finance scholarship through publications in high-impact journals.
