Lora Koretz is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business. She teaches LES 305: Business Law and Ethics for Managers, providing students with essential knowledge in legal and ethical frameworks for business management. Koretz's educational background includes a B.S. from Western New England College, a J.D. from Suffolk University in 1993, and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University in 2002. Following her graduation from Suffolk University Law School, she began her legal career in general practice in Boston, Massachusetts, developing practical expertise that enriches her academic instruction.
Since joining Arizona State University in 2004 as a Senior Lecturer, Koretz has advanced to her current position as Clinical Associate Professor. She has made significant contributions through service, serving as President of the W. P. Carey MBA Alumni Council since 2009. Koretz advises key student organizations, including the Undergraduate Law Association at Arizona State University, the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International's ASU chapter, and the Business Law Club in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. Her excellence in teaching was honored with the 2022-2023 Dean’s List for Teaching Impact award from the W. P. Carey School of Business. She has also participated as a faculty reader at multiple ASU commencement ceremonies, such as those in Spring 2020, Spring 2022, Spring 2023, and Spring 2025. Listed as instructional faculty in ASU catalogs for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, Koretz maintains an office in BA 323D on the Tempe campus, supporting student engagement and success.
