Lynda McIver serves as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor External Engagement at the University of Otago. In this administrative role within the Division of External Engagement, she supports Professor Jessica Palmer, handling executive tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and coordination of division activities from Room 113 in the Clocktower Building, Dunedin. Her contributions extend to facilitating strategic initiatives in external partnerships and engagement.
Lynda McIver also acts as Committee Secretary for the University of Otago's Internationalisation Committee, managing administrative functions including meeting coordination and documentation. She is involved in processes related to international partnership proposals and MNU Travel Awards applications. Previously, she held the position of Personal Assistant to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor International. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Otago. She appears in university senate minutes as secretary and is listed in the staff directory.
