Dr. Mamta Rani is an Associate Professor in the Center for Management Studies at Gitarattan International Business School (giBS), where she joined on September 5, 2022. Bringing over two decades of extensive teaching experience in management education, she previously served as Associate Professor and Head of Department in Gateway Education at giBS, as well as Associate Professor at RDIAS affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Dr. Rani has more than five years of experience as a Course Coordinator, during which she has worked closely with students, demonstrating a strong technical and theoretical understanding of subject matter. She excels in cross-functional teams, contributing effectively to the achievement of the college's strategic goals. Her professional journey underscores a commitment to fostering student development and institutional excellence in business education.

Dr. Rani holds academic qualifications including M.Com, M.Phil, PGDBA, and Ph.D. Her areas of expertise include human resources, finance subjects, and general management. She has authored a book titled “Services Marketing,” enriching the academic resources available in the field. Known for her dedication to application-based teaching, Dr. Rani believes there is no limit to learning. She actively participates in institutional governance, serving as an Ex Officio Member of the Students' Affairs Committee on the Anti-Ragging Committee and as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Global Innovation in Business & Strategy (JGIBS) at giBS. Through these roles and her teaching, Dr. Rani significantly impacts the academic community at Gitarattan International Business School, promoting innovative practices and student-centered learning environments.
