Margaret Wright serves as a Student Advisor in the Learning Support Team at Disability Information and Support, University of Otago. Her qualifications include an LLB, BA, and Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary). She joined Disability Information and Support in 2017 as an exam and test supervisor before transitioning to her current role as Student Advisor in 2023.
Margaret studied at the University of Otago, which provides her with firsthand knowledge of the challenges students face in developing their passions and achieving their academic goals. Drawing from her background in secondary teaching and boarding, she understands the vital importance of tailored support services that enable students to navigate life transitions, grow independently, and thrive in their studies. Inspired by the successes of past students she has supported, Margaret is dedicated to helping current students overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
