Marion Daressy is a Professeur Agrégé (PRAG) at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, serving in the UFR Lettres, Langues et Sciences Humaines (LLSH). She holds the position of Director of the Département de Langues Étrangères Appliquées (LEA), where she oversees academic programs and serves as the primary contact for recruitment, including positions for contractuels, lecteurs in Spanish, and ATERs. In this role, she manages scolarité for Licence levels and Masters within LEA. Her administrative contributions include participation in the Conseil de Perfectionnement du département LEA and leadership in departmental organization as documented in UFR organigrams.
Daressy teaches a range of Spanish courses at various levels, including GRAM101_ESP Grammaire espagnole, ESPA104_LEA Espagnol: Langue et communication 1, ESPA801_LEA Enjeux du Monde hispanique 2, and contributions to L2 and L3 LEA programs in langues transversales. She is affiliated with the Laboratoire LLSETI (EA3706) and actively co-organizes the Séminaires LEA sur le Monde hispanique alongside David Gregorio, Maître de conférences, and Julio Zárate. These seminars address contemporary issues in the Hispanic world, such as the authoritarian drifts of Hispanic political regimes, the Catalan independence process from 2012-2017, and relations between Catalonia and Spain. Her scholarly work focuses on Spanish Golden Age literature, particularly the comedies of Tirso de Molina. Notable publications include 'Merit and courage in Tanto es lo de más como lo de menos, biblical comedy by Tirso de Molina' in the BIADIG Collection from the University of Navarra, 'Mérito y valor en la comedia Ventura te dé Dios, hijo' in congress proceedings, and a contribution to the 'FESTINA LENTE' international congress on young Golden Age researchers. She has been recognized in the Annuaire de la Société des Hispanistes Français.
