About Mark

Dr. Mark MacDougall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Brandon University. His research program focuses on understanding the anatomy, taxonomy, evolution, development, and ecology of late Palaeozoic early tetrapods using both traditional palaeontological and field-based methods in combination with modern technologies such as computed tomography scanning to study the anatomy of fossil reptiles and mammal ancestors. His research area is Vertebrate Palaeontology.

Dr. MacDougall holds a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. He teaches undergraduate courses including Human Anatomy and Physiology I, Human Anatomy and Physiology II, Evolution, and Developmental Biology.
