Dr. Maroof Ahmad Mir is a Professor in the area of Finance and Accounts at Asian Business School, Noida, where he joined on March 15, 2016. He simultaneously serves as Dean of the Asian School of Business, contributing to academic leadership within the Asian Education Group. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Management specializing in Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, an MBA, and NET qualification. With over 15 years of academic experience, his prior role included serving as Assistant Professor at New Delhi Institute of Management. Dr. Mir is recognized for his involvement in institutional committees, such as the Grievance Redressal Committee, and as President of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC).
Dr. Mir's research focuses on Fintech Adoption and Investor Behavior. He has authored numerous publications, including the peer-reviewed article 'CSR Communication and Purchase Intentions: Analysing the Underlying Psychological Mechanisms' (2023, Vision: The Journal of Business Perspective), 'Investor Intentions of Stock Market Participation in India' (2024, International Journal of Indian Culture and Business Management), 'E-Health Adoption in India: SEM Analysis using DTPB Approach' (2020, International Journal of Management), and 'Mobile Banking Adoption Factors in India' (2019).
