Rate My Professor Mary Hedges

Throughout her career at Mayo Clinic Florida, Dr. Hedges has held numerous leadership and educational roles, including Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency from 2011 to 2020. She has received multiple awards for teaching and education, such as the Top Teacher Award from the Internal Medicine Residency Program, the Outstanding Educator Award from the Department of Medicine, the Mayo Clinic Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Performance as a Teacher of Clinical Medicine, and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Additional honors include the Diversity Champion Award and repeated Provider Recognition awards for patient experience.
