Dr. Maryam Jessri is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in the School of Dentistry at the University of Queensland and an Oral Medicine Consultant at Queensland Health, Metro North Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane. She holds qualifications including DDS, PhD, Dip ABOM, and FOMAA. Her research encompasses oral oncology, head and neck pathology, genetics, next-generation sequencing, genomics, clinical dentistry, and the application of artificial intelligence in digital histopathology for conditions such as oral squamous cell carcinoma and oral epithelial dysplasia.
