Mathieu Michaud is a PhD candidate in Kinesiology Sciences at McGill University. He completed a B.Mus. in Instrumental Composition at Université de Montréal, an M.Mus. in Instrumental Composition at McGill University, a B.Sc. in Physical and Health Education at McGill University, and an M.A. in Kinesiology and Physical Education with specialization in Adapted Physical Activity at McGill University.
His academic work centers on adapted physical activity. He has received the Stansfield Award for School-Based Classroom Research and the Muriel H. Marsh and Harold A. Marsh Endowment from the Faculty of Education at McGill University. Michaud has co-authored publications including a 2023 paper on mixed methods research in adapted physical activity and a 2026 scoping review on facilitating physical activity participation among autistic children and youth.
