Dr. Hossain earned his BSc Honours degree in Chemistry from Krishnath College, Berhampore, under Kalyani University in 2004, followed by an MSc in Chemistry with a major in Organic Chemistry in 2006. He conducted research in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, Kolkata, and pursued advanced research at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, under Professor Charles B. de Koning. His research focuses on catalysis, organic synthesis, and supramolecular chemistry.
