Dr. Mehmet Cigla is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at the University of Western Australia, affiliated with the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering. He earned a PhD in Mining and Earth Systems from the Colorado School of Mines in 2006, an MSc in Mining Engineering from Istanbul Technical University between 1990 and 1992, and a BEng in Mining Engineering from Istanbul Technical University between 1984 and 1988.
