Melanie Clark is an adjunct staff member in the School of Education at Murdoch University, affiliated with Kardinya Primary School. She serves as the Principal of Kardinya Primary School in Western Australia, where she leads educational initiatives and fosters partnerships, including with Murdoch University for internships and academic support.
Her involvement extends to research efforts at Murdoch University's Ngangk Yira Research Centre for Aboriginal Health and Social Equity. Melanie Clark-Rantasa is acknowledged in the 2021 publication titled 'Healing the Past by Nurturing the Future: Aboriginal parents' views of what helps support recovery from complex trauma,' published in BMJ Open, recognizing contributions to studies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parents' perspectives on trauma recovery support.
