Dr. Michele Huang is a distinguished prosthodontist and clinical academic affiliated with the University of Western Australia (UWA). She holds the position of Clinical Operations Manager at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA), a premier state-of-the-art facility dedicated to dental teaching, learning, and patient care. OHCWA serves as Western Australia's sole provider of tertiary dentistry training, where Huang oversees clinical operations, ensuring high standards of specialist services including prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, and more. She actively contributes to undergraduate education at UWA's School of Dentistry, supervising student clinicians and facilitating tutor recruitment programs in collaboration with the Australian Dental Association Western Australia (ADAWA).

Her research interests encompass temporomandibular disorders and related symptoms, evidenced by publications in the International Journal of Prosthodontics, such as 'Self-Reported Bruxism, Masticatory Muscle Pain, Psychological Profile, and Bowel Symptoms: A Retrospective Study' and 'Awake Oral Behaviors Associated with Temporomandibular-Related Pain Symptoms in a Non-Patient Student Population: A Dual Assessment Approach,' co-authored with colleagues including Terry Whittle, Pooja Garg, and Iven Klineberg. Huang supports community initiatives, including ADA Dental Health Foundation events by providing clinic access for Dental Rescue Days. Her leadership enhances oral health care delivery and professional development in dentistry.
