Michelle Sako Omodei earned her medical degree from the Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in 2014. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted scientific initiation research supported by FAPESP scholarships in ophthalmology and gynecology and obstetrics. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the same institution in 2018 and in mastology in 2020. Omodei obtained her master's degree in 2019 with a thesis on the evaluation of the pelvic floor in postmenopausal women and her doctorate in 2023 with a randomized clinical trial examining vitamin D supplementation in women with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy, both through the Graduate Program in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Mastology at UNESP Botucatu.
She holds specialist titles in gynecology and obstetrics from FEBRASGO (2021) and qualifications in gynecology and obstetrics and mastology from the São Paulo Regional Medical Council (2022). Her professional activities center on the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, and mastology within the Faculty of Medicine at UNESP. A key publication is the 2025 paper “Vitamin D Supplementation Improves Pathological Complete Response in Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy: A Randomized Clinical Trial” in Nutrition and Cancer. Omodei has participated in numerous medical congresses and courses related to her fields of specialization.
