Dr. Mina Rezkalla is an Adjunct Senior Clinical Lecturer at Curtin University Medical School within the Faculty of Health Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Notre Dame Australia, completed in 2016. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr. Rezkalla is actively involved in the training and education of medical students at Curtin University Medical School. Her academic role complements her extensive clinical experience in general practice and skin cancer medicine.
In her professional practice, Dr. Rezkalla serves as a General Practitioner at Kingsley Family Practice in Kingsley, Western Australia, and as a Skin Cancer Physician at WA Skin and Vein Clinic in Greenwood. She specializes in comprehensive skin examinations using digital dermoscopy, management of solar keratoses through photodynamic therapy, and treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Dr. Rezkalla collaborates on complex skin cancer cases employing advanced surgical techniques, including skin grafts and flap closures. Her skills extend to excisions of lipomas and cysts, greater occipital nerve blocks for cervicogenic headaches, ingrown toenail surgery, botulinum toxin injections for hyperhidrosis, and facial aesthetic procedures with wrinkle-relaxers and dermal fillers. Prior to medicine, her pharmacy background provided foundational knowledge in community health, followed by hospital rotations in Western Australia and specialist GP training.
