Moganavatsala Jeevanantham serves as a Teaching Fellow in the Malaysia School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia. She earned her Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2009 and her Master of Science in Information Assurance from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2016. Her career trajectory reflects a strong foundation in information technology support and education. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a Service Request Administrator at Hewlett Packard (M) in Cyberjaya, supporting the EU and APAC regions by managing IP and LAN services. In 2012, she transitioned to SEGi University as an e-resources support executive, where she managed the Learning Management System (LMS) and delivered training on LMS usage to both students and staff. By 2019, she had advanced to the role of Program Coordinator and Lecturer at Manipal International University, further honing her skills in academic coordination and instruction.
In her current position at Monash University Malaysia, Jeevanantham contributes significantly to undergraduate education through lecturing in key units within the School of Information Technology, including FIT1051 Programming Fundamentals in Java, FIT9131 Programming Foundations in Java, and FIT2099 Object Oriented Design and Development. She has also tutored students in FIT2081 Mobile Application Development and serves as the Unit Coordinator for FIT1056 Introduction to Software Engineering. Her research interests center on cybersecurity, with a particular emphasis on applications in the healthcare and education sectors, alongside keywords such as educational technology. A notable contribution to her field is her co-authorship of the peer-reviewed article 'Student satisfaction on lecturers’ effectiveness, efficiency and productivity: Malaysian education landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic,' published in Teaching Public Administration (Volume 41, Issue 1, pages 108-121, March 2023), in collaboration with Mahiswaran Selvanathan, Prakash Velloo, and Susha Varughese. This publication has garnered 4 citations in Scopus.
