Rate My Professor Mohanad Halaweh

Professor Mohanad Halaweh serves as Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business at Al Ain University. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from De Montfort University in the United Kingdom, awarded in 2009, and an MSc in Computer Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Science. His research focuses on e-commerce and digital innovation, IT adoption, and the impacts of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data. He employs methodologies including grounded theory in his work.

Professor Halaweh has authored over 60 publications in internationally ranked journals and conferences indexed in SCOPUS and/or ABDC. He has presented at major international conferences in the information systems field, including ICIS, PACIS, and ACIS. He has received several research awards, including the Research Excellence Award for the academic year 2011-2012 and first place in a research award category in the field of Information Technology. In addition to his research and teaching, he has served as a program committee member and reviewer for various international journals and conferences, and as a speaker and chair at international conferences.
